Best Apps for Samsung Galaxy S5: Workout


Continuing with my next folder of apps is my workout gear. I have to admit I don’t have many apps in this area. I’ve tried a bunch these are my faithful’s.

Nike Running – I keep track of every time I run, walk, or jog. It logs indoor and outdoor runs and is super convenient for telling you your pace. Another cool feature is if you add your friends you can do group challenges. You fight it out to see who can get to 10 miles by the end of the week. Tons of fun!

Slacker Radio – I love Slacker Radio for a really good mix of music. I mostly listen to workout radio, Beyoncé radio, or, Fifth Harmony radio. These channels always get me going.

S Health – is a stock app for Samsung and at first I thought it was going to be completely lame. It’s actually the exact opposite. Stocked with pedometer, heart monitor, and stress tester it’s very helpful. I mostly use the pedometer since it tracks my steps throughout the day.

My Fitness Pal – If you looking for a detailed app to count all your workout and nutrition this is the app for you. It breaks down every single calorie and tracks your burned calories through workouts. It also syncs with all the equipment at my gym which makes it helpful for recording. I have heard some people say that it’s tedious, but when you’re trying to get right it’s all worth it.

Spotify – because as much as I like Slacker Radio, Spotify is where you can listen to an entire album of one artist. There aren’t many days where I do this but there are those occasions.
